Where to Try Kangen Water in Honolulu for Free
You do not have to take our word for it. The best way to understand Kangen Water is to taste it, and Honolulu has a showroom built for exactly that.

A lot of people search for "free water tasting near me" in Honolulu and are not sure what to expect. This guide walks through exactly what happens at a Kangen 808 tasting, what you actually taste, and how to book a spot at our Kaimuki showroom.
Where is the tasting held?
Kangen 808, also known as Blessed & Beautiful Kangen Water, runs its showroom at 3457 Waialae Ave, Suite 201, Honolulu, HI 96816. It sits right in the Kaimuki neighborhood, an easy stop whether you are coming from Kahala, Kaimuki, Manoa, or downtown. Street parking and nearby lots are available along Waialae Ave, and Lee Meadows or a team member can point you to the closest spot when you book.
What actually happens at a tasting?
A typical visit takes about 30 to 45 minutes. Lee or a team member walks you through how a Kangen machine works, runs a live demonstration right at the counter, and lets you taste the water yourself, side by side with regular tap water so the difference is obvious. There is no script and no pressure to buy anything that day. Most people leave with more questions answered than they walked in with, and a clear sense of whether it fits their household.
What are the 5 water types you taste?
A Kangen machine produces five distinct types of water from the same tap, and part of the fun of a tasting is trying each one:
- Strong Kangen Water (pH 11.5): for cleaning and food prep, not for drinking
- Kangen Water (pH 8.5 to 9.5): the everyday alkaline water for drinking and cooking
- Clean Water (pH 7.0): neutral, filtered water, good for medication or baby formula
- Beauty Water (pH 4.0 to 6.0): mildly acidic water used as a skin toner
- Strong Acidic Water (pH 2.5): for sanitizing and disinfecting surfaces
If you want a deeper explanation of what each one is for before you come in, our water types guide covers all five in detail, or take our short quiz to see which one fits your lifestyle.
Is there really no pressure to buy?
Genuinely, no. Lee's approach has always been to let the water speak for itself. Some visitors book a machine the same week, others come back months later, and some decide it is not for them, and that is fine too. The tasting exists so you can make an informed decision, not so we can close a sale on the spot.
Any community events happening this month?
Yes. On Saturday, July 18, 2026, Kangen 808 is hosting a Community Open House at the Honolulu showroom, with snacks, networking, live demos, and practical product information. Everyone is welcome, whether you have tried Kangen Water before or this would be your first taste. See the full event details and RSVP here.
How do I book a tasting?
Booking takes less than a minute online, or you can call or text (808) 501-9878 to set a time directly with Lee. Weekday and weekend slots are both available, and the showroom can usually accommodate walk-ins if you are already in Kaimuki, though booking ahead guarantees your spot.
